About Me

Hello! My name is Analise Macias. I am an Independent consultant for the Scentsy Family. My most important calling in life is being a mom to my 4 beautiful children and a wife to husband. It was this love for my family that has given me the success I have had with Scentsy.

I started my journey with Scentsy in 2009 when I ordered my first warmer and scents for myself and some Christmas gifts for my mom. I had been hearing about the rage of Scentsy, and didn’t really understand what all the fuss was about until I received my shipment, got my warmer and plugged it in. I was sold right there on the spot.
After selling for many, and I mean many, other direct sales companies, I knew that this was an opportunity I could not pass up. I questioned how on earth I was going to explain this to my friends and family after so many failed attempts in direct sales. About a month later, I decided to sign up. I was 7 months pregnant with my 4th child and I’m pretty sure there was a lot of eye rolling from my husband, but I didn’t care.  I knew I could do this, at the very least I could feed my own habit.
My first year as a consultant without much effort really, I almost always had an order to turn in every month. It was so easy!  I just took my testers around town and people ordered. There was really nothing to it. I'm not saying I was a Rock Star by any means, but people really love Scentsy once they learn the concept and smell the different scents. So for me I loved the fact that it was easy!
In August of 2010 my husband lost his job with one of the biggest poultry companies in the US.  They were just coming out of bankruptcy and had been taken over by a new company. He had been there for several years and with a family to feed and care for we were all devastated.  He took a job at one of the local school districts with a significant decrease in pay, and by early 2011 we were suffering tremendously.   Embarrassed with the fact that the government was having to help feed my children, I began babysitting my cousin’s 3 small children to try and make ends meet.
It was in February during the transition into our new Spring/Summer catalog that I began to set some goals.  "This is going to be my year," I'd tell myself.  I was going to get motivated. I ordered at least 100 catalogs, made Scentsy bar samples, and began sending out letters and flyers to all my contacts. I was getting prepared for the launch of our catalog on March 1.
March 1, 2011.  A day that will forever be drilled into my head. I was driving down a 2 lane farmer’s market road with my 3 small cousins in the backseat of my little Toyota Camry when going around a curve the only thing I recall is looking at the driver of an 18 wheeler. We hit head on, and my little passengers and I were trapped in a burning car. My first instinct of course was to get my seat belt off and get out of the car to get the children, but I couldn't move.  I was trapped with the engine of my car literally sitting in my lap crushing me from the waist down.
Filled with adrenaline I do not remember pain from that day, just the heroes who saved my 3 cousins and I.  The children were going to be ok.  Little 11 month old William who was sitting in my youngest son's car seat right behind me suffered a broken femur and Emma and Ella who weren't yet 3  were observed by the hospital overnight and released. A miracle for the children indeed.  However, I was airlifted receiving blood transfusions from a hemorrhaging artery in my pelvis.  I received multiple pelvic fractures so bad that there was no support to hold my legs whatsoever.  My left femur had blown through my hip crushing it into pieces and breaking my femur as well.
Three weeks later I woke up from a drug induced coma the doctors had put me in. I remembered the wreck, but had no idea the extent of my injuries. I was tied to a hospital bed, unable to see with no glasses and unable to speak due to a tracheotomy.
I’d had blood transfusions and almost died? It would be 2 years before I'd walk again and I'll need a hip replacement? Were they serious?  It My husband, David, couldn't even recall how many surgeries and procedures had been done on me.
Twenty-four days after my wreck, I was moved from ICU, and I was finally able to see my 4 beautiful children. It was a site for sore eyes. My husband also brought my Scentsy box. I will never for the life of me forget it. It was the scent of the month for April that year, Flutter. The nurses let me set up a warmer and melt it in my room, and so began the “Scentsy Patient.”
My wonderful best friend, Roz, came and set up all my books, fliers and testers.  I had nurses and therapists coming from all over to order Scentsy from me. It gave me something to talk about besides my wreck, and the emotional pain I was going through.  I even earned 2 of Scentsy’s summer incentive warmers that year that they had for consultants! It took my mind off of the physical pain, and the mental stress of not being home with my children.
I was released from the hospital and sent home on May 5, 2011. After 65 days in the hospital, it was a very hard adjustment for and I began to get very depressed. Depending on my family to do so much for me, going to rehab 3 days a week, learning to walk again and still trying to be a mom was very hard. Scentsy had to take a back seat.
Over the months I progressed rapidly.  I was walking without my walker by August and by Christmas I was doing very well without my cane. I was physically doing better than expected, but emotionally I was a mess.
While reading through my emails I learned about a training session Scentsy was going to be having. I had the idea that attending Scentsy’s Spring Sprint, which is like a mini convention, could help me. I signed up! It was going to be in January 2012, and I knew I had to go. I had to do something. My husband was doing the best he could, but we just couldn't make ends meet. He needed my help, and I was bound and determined to get off of government assistance. I couldn't bear it any longer. Physically, I had no options, and Scentsy had always been there for me, so I went to Spring Sprint determined.  I was going to set goals and by-golly I was going to reach them.  No, I’d never recruited in the 2 years I’d been with them, but I was ready.
That Spring Sprint changed me, it changed my life. For the first time as an adult I set a goal. With my new attitude I gained 12 new team members and went from being a Certified Consultant to a SuperStar Consultant in 9 months.  Just from putting a little bit of effort into something I love! Since then, I’ve recruited, I’ve done parties, I’ve done events, and I’ve been to Las Vegas for the 2012 Scentsy Convention, I earned a $500 product credit incentive, went to Hawaii for FREE and traveled to Indianapolis for our Scentsy Family Reunion 2013.
After attending my first convention in Las Vegas I can honestly say that I work for 2 of the most amazing and humble people who, probably can’t pick me out of a crowd, but I know they care for me. They care for all of their consultants. It is idea of, "giving more than you take," that has helped mold me into the person I've become since March 1, 2011.
The blessings I have received from this company are astounding, and I can't help but share it with all those I come in contact with. If you'd like more examples of how they have enriched mine & my family's life feel free to ask!

If  you are looking for something positive in your life, a way to make lifelong friendships, earn free trips, some money, and earn that Scentsy GLOW....I say sign up!  It's a $99 investment that may change your life. www.analise.scentsy.us/join
